This three class series will look at yoga from the perspective of strength building. Though yoga has a reputation for flexibility, what yogis know is: you are only as flexible as you are strong AND you are only as strong as you are flexible. They exist inside the other.
We'll look at shoulders and arms; the core and spine; the hips and legs. We'll use dynamic movement, actions of poses (as opposed to holding a full static pose) and resistance props (light weights, therabands). Expect to work just outside of your current capability to experience active range of motion. Open to level one and level two students who are injury free.
